Natural Cleanser for Oil Skin
Add two tablespoons of the fenugreek seeds to lukewarm soaking water and let it soak overnight. Then grind it into a fine paste. Mix two tablespoons of aloe gel, and apply on the face for 10-30 mins. After rinsing with lukewarm aqueous, moisturize. Repeat this 2-3 times weekly to remove dirt and oils from your skin.
Natural Exfoliant for Smoother Skin
Most exfoliating skin products today use plastic beads, often made from petroleum products. It’s much better to use natural scrubbing bead-like fenugreek seed, which rejuvenates and exfoliates the skin, revealing an even softer texture. The seeds are used for this purpose in our Ayurvedic Facial scrub.
A Perfect Cleansing Ingredient
Fenugreek is a great cleanser, and it also exfoliates. Add the seeds to three cups of boiling water and let it cool. Then use the water to cleanse your face.
Natural Ingredients for Conditioning
Fenugreek seed oil, fats, and mucus are natural ingredients that moisturize and soften the skin. Mix with yogurt to make a moisturizer for your face, or use a fine paste on your hair to get shiny, conditioned hair. (Leave it on for 30 mins before washing.)
Fenugreek as a Nourishing Food
Fenugreek contains various nutrients, including vitamin C, potassium, niacin, and carotene. These nutrients help to maintain healthy skin and a youthful appearance.
